Advice on Choosing  Jewellery

Choosing the right style of jewellery is as much a question of personality as of size, shape or colouring.

If you have a bubbly and extrovert personality, you will probably be able to wear extremes of shape and size. If you are a little more conservative you may opt for something more restrained.

Remember that gold and silver are colours, and that if you wear cool colours (blues greens and purples), then silver, platinum or white gold will probably suit you. If you look well in warmer hues (browns, reds and yellows), go for gold. If you're unsure, try jewellery that combines more than one colour.

If you're very slight or petite, you may have to consider rings of a moderate size, but you don't necessarily have to restrict yourself to small pendants and earrings - some of my tiniest customers have the biggest personalities and the biggest jewellery.

Having said that, I do find that people of a more generous build tend to look well in larger pieces - big rings make hands look smaller.

If you are really unsure of what style suits you, send a photograph - I'll be happy to advise you.
